Tobacco DuplicityAmongst the tobacco companies, Phillip Morris applaudablly, is the only one that advertises about the health risks in smoking and offers free resources for smokers who wants to quit. However, while Phillip Morris is advertising the risks of smoking, it and many other large tobacco companies has double or tripled the amount of nicotine contained in a common cigarette. So it is harder for a smoker to quit since he or she become more addicted to nicotine. Smokers beware.
Somehow this particular news does not strike me as surprising, after all, the tobacco companies has lied about the risks of smoking to the public for decades.
